I’ll be the first to admit, I don’t know anything…and that’s anything with a capital “A” about breastfeeding. But since personal knowledge hasn’t stopped me from commenting before…I thought I’d share this.
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen was quoted in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar as saying this:
“I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breast-feed their babies for six months…Some people here [in the U.S.] think they don’t have to breast-feed, and I think ‘Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'” she said.
That, of course, isn’t the fun part of the story. The best part is this quote by Fox News contributor Colleen Cappon:
“What she doesn’t know, is not every mother can relate to a woman who describes labor as “painless,” thanks to meditation, of course. Oh, and did we mention—she gave birth in Tom Brady’s bathtub.”
Oh, and did we mention—she gave birth in Tom Brady’s bathtub. I mean, seriously! How grounded in reality can she be?
