Byron York had an interesting opinion piece in the Washington Examiner this morning about the anger of the Left. It was provoked, in part, by comments actress/comedienne Janeane Garofalo made about the tea parties during an appearance on Keith Olbermann’s show. I have to admit, watching Keith Olbermann makes my body twitch….but that’s a different matter altogether…here’s Jeneane’s quote:
“Let’s be very honest about what this is about,” Garofalo said. “It’s not about bashing Democrats. It’s not about taxes. …This is about hating a black man in the White House.”
Is it any wonder the Right and the Left don’t get along? I was born and raised in the South and I’d be willing to bet the only problem most Southerners have with a black man occupying the White House is the ease with which we’re charged with racism when we disagree with his policies.
